Lina and Gori travel to a coastal city called Akasi, where octopus tentacles are known as a delicious food. However, octopus meat contains a curse that makes anyone who eats it only speak the octopus language (Takogu). Amelia, Zelgadis, and Zelus also join them, and the four main characters (Lina, Gori, Amelia, and Zelgadis) all fall under this curse. The octopuses use the power of a Mazoku to free themselves from humans forever. Now, the white wizard, Roma, must learn the cure for this curse from his lost master to save the city.
